UMMA is the largest organization of boat builders in the marine industry. More than ninety boat builders produce more than 50,000 boats per year, purchasing most of their goods and services through UMMA programs in conjunction with UMSA suppliers.

UMSA (United Marine Suppliers Association)

UMSA represents a parallel organization of the preferred suppliers to the UMMA boat builders. In addition to receiving purchasing priority from the UMMA builders, UMSA suppliers work hand in hand to enhance and grow business between the parties.
UMSA encourages its Members to purchase, whenever possible, from each other and to pool their resources together with UMMA to the collective benefit of all. In addition to sharing business opportunities, UMSA and UMMA work together in support of NMMA's efforts to address the common threats of government intrusion into areas that adversely impact the industry.
Each October UMSA joins UMMA as co-sponsors of their annual "Partnership" Conference, bringing the decision makers together to resolve problems and to work toward mutual goals. It is anticipated that a similar organization of dedicated UCMA fabricators and suppliers will be established.
